Home Program Builder

Lets a private-practice SLP assemble a child's home practice packet from a bank of their own activities, then sends it as a printable or a link parents can open each week.

Read the full idea

Who pays
Speech-language pathologists in private practice who see pediatric clients
The problem
Parents expect new information and action items for home every single week, and the SLP has to build that from scratch each time. Parents are already overwhelmed, so generic homework does not get done.
The gap
Existing tools either give parents a fixed app with preset content (At Home Articulation) or sell ready-made printable packets (TPT, themed memberships). None let an SLP load their own activity bank and regenerate a personalized weekly packet per child in a few clicks.
Already out there
People asking for it
The big assumption
SLPs will pay a monthly fee for a packet builder when free TPT printables and their existing membership library already cover most of the need.
Test it this week
Ask 10 private-practice SLPs to send you their last three home packets and time how long it took them to make each one. Offer to build next week's packet by hand for five of them and see if they ask for it again.

Caseload Handoff Kit

When an SLP leaves a practice or goes on leave, this packages each client's goals, notes, materials and parent contacts into a clean handover file for whoever takes over.

Read the full idea

Who pays
Practice owners and SLPs covering a leave or replacing a clinician
The problem
When a clinician leaves or goes on maternity leave, the practice owner has to reconstruct each client's goals, notes and parent contacts from scattered files and personal email. Covering SLPs walk in with almost nothing.
The gap
Practice management tools like ReadySetConnect store notes and goals for the current clinician but do not produce a portable, per-client handover package for a replacement. School-focused tools like SchoolTherapyDocs are built for school caseloads, not private-practice ownership transfers.
Already out there
People asking for it
The big assumption
Practice owners feel this pain strongly enough to pay, rather than handling handovers with a shared drive and a checklist.
Test it this week
Interview five private-practice owners who have had a clinician leave in the last year. Ask them to walk you through exactly how they handed over the caseload and how many hours it took.
