How this works

The estimate adds up fixed weights for a small, focused team building a first version people can use and pay for. Every weight is in the breakdown next to your total.

  • A platform base covers design, the core flow, hosting and launch:web app 3 to 5 weeks; ios and android 5 to 8 weeks; web and mobile 7 to 11 weeks; desktop (mac and windows) 5 to 8 weeks.
  • Each feature adds its own range. On more than one surface it takes longer, so feature weights are multiplied:x1 for web app, x1.15 for ios and android, x1.5 for web and mobile, x1.1 for desktop (mac and windows).
  • Custom brand design adds 1 to 2 weeks. A clean, standard design adds nothing.
  • Testing and launch is always 1 to 1.5 weeks.

These are our own rules of thumb, not an industry statistic. Use the range to plan and to decide what to cut, then get a real plan for your scope.

Questions

How long does it take to build an MVP?
A focused web app with user accounts comes to 4 to 8 weeks by our planning weights. Mobile apps, payments, AI features and offline support each add time. The honest answer depends on scope, which is why the breakdown shows every piece.
How can I build it faster?
Cut features, not quality. Launch on one platform first, use a clean standard design, and leave admin tools, teams and offline support for version two. The biggest line in your breakdown is usually the first thing to question.
Why no price?
Because a price without scope is a guess. After a short call we give you a fixed quote, so the price doesn’t grow as the weeks go by.
What isn’t included in the estimate?
Writing your content, legal work like terms and privacy policies, marketing, and waiting on third parties such as bank or app store approvals beyond the usual review.
